Hobbit - Sons of Durin
There is nothing quite so satisfying as the penetrating ache in your bones following a productive day, Bilbo reflected contentedly.
Gandalf had assured them earlier that day that, if they pushed on just maybe an hour or so more, they would easily reach the edge of Mirkwood by the following evening. Their bodies stiff from riding Beorn’s ponies all afternoon, the company had elected to dismount and to walk for a while. They had done this at regular intervals throughout the day as it gave them an opportunity to stretch their cramping limbs and to allow the hardy little beasts to take a well-deserved break.
They still had a way to walk y

Happily Dysfunctional - Thanksgiving
It was mid afternoon outside the Summer Palace, and the golden sun was blazing in the sky. The air was warm, the breeze was gentle, and all-in-all, it was a perfect setting for the event that was never supposed to happen to take place.
The dysfunctional family of Henry was going to have Thanksgiving Dinner.
Rumplestiltskin shook his head as his cane sifted through the grass, watching his over zealous son and grandson race up the hill. It would be a lie if he said he was dreading what was to happen in only a couple of hours. It would also be a lie if he said he wasn't dreading it. To put it simply, he didn't know how he felt.
It had been tw

Once again, Loki was in the floating fortress so the Avengers could go off to fight Doctor Doom’s inventions. He was considering if he should change Director Fury’s eye patch with a pink one in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month (as Darcy Lewis had in

"Get out of the way!" the Doctor told the Master. The Master dove to the side and with one shot, the Doctor destroyed the White Point Star and broke the Link. "The Link is broken! Back into the Time War, Rassilon! Back into Hell!" the Doctor shouted.
"You'll die with me, Doctor!" Rassilon growled and raised his gauntlet covered hand.
"I know," the Doctor muttered.
"Get out of the way!" the Master hissed. The Master shot Rassilon in the chest with a bolt of Artron Energy. "You did this to me! All of my life!" He shot another bolt at him. "You made me!" Another bolt. "One!" And another. "Two!" Another. "Three!" And one last.

The Master and the Doctor were having tea. Tolerating each other's presence long enough for the Master to tell the Doctor all about his plans.
"I daresay, I have you stumped this time. Haven't I, Doctor?" the Master had a smug and challenging smile. Amazing how he can combine such moods.
"Well, I wouldn't be so sure of that," the Doctor looked a bit weary.
Suddenly, there was a sort of zapping noise, and two young men app

Of all the confounded things that could happen in this madcap world, this was quite possibly the most irritating the Doctor had yet encountered. It had started when Sgt. Benton escorted a cross-eyed gray pegasus mare into the Doctor's lab to greet him and Jo. She'd had a message from the Master, of all ponies, which immediately set the Doctor on edge. The Doctor had asked the mare's name, and when she'd opened her mouth to respond, a

Bilbo tugged his coat more tightly about his small frame and shivered, more from nerves than the chill.
It was a mere week into the journey – they had not even reached the furthermost borders of the Shire yet – and already he was beginning to feel a twinge of doubt about this quest.
The dwarves were pleasant enough. Fili and Kili’s relentless curiosity had subsided into boisterous, youthful over-familiarity. Ori had shyly made several attempts at conversation, as had Balin and Bombur. Bofur chatted freely to him as if he had known him forever, unthinkingly sharing his supplies of tobacco with the Hobbit as soon

"What do you think we should do about the Thing in the annex?" Prussia asked, plopping down beside Germany at one of the Safe Room's wooden tables.
"I don't know," Japan replied, taking a bite of his rice ball. "Your sword is broken and Romano-san's gun needs repairs, so we should probably lie low for a bit."
"At least now I have more of magic back," England commented, smiling in satisfaction. "That ought to help."
Germany did not contribute to the conversation. He was too busy staring at Japan. Well, more specifically, the rice ball that Japan was eating.
Finally, Japan noticed this. "Uh, Germany-san? Are you hungry? There's food in the
I ran into the annex of the Mansion, grim determination making my legs go faster than they normally would. I had to get to the monster before anyone else; once I defeated it, I could get America's glasses and he'd realize that everything would be alright and hopefully, if he still wasn't too stubborn, he'd at least say "hello" to me again.
I don't remember what happened in that second time loop, but I must have done something to set America off. He had never ignored me this much before, and I could tell that he was extremely upset, though he tried to hide it under a front of anger. However, I knew him well enough that I could see past
